WRONG REASONS TO GET MARRIED

1)Loneliness: Learn to fill happiness and fulfillment on your own. Happiness comes from within. There are many married yet lonely people. Let the joy of the Lord be your strength. Get married because it is the right thing to do not just to escape from loneliness.

2)Infatuation/Love:You need to be in love but don't just get married bcos of love. Love matters but it is not ALL that matters. You need to make sure that other ingredients that are essential for a good marriage like intimacy, good communication, friendship,support,compatibility are there in the relationship.

3)Unwanted pregnancy :Abstinence during courtship still remains a virtue and not outdated. If you marry bcos of an unwanted pregnancy it can lead to frustration and abuse. That's why sex is worth waiting for. If the guy says he wants to test your fertility first,then insists that he takes you to a gyno not to bed. Be smart not desperate!!!

4)Foolish Expectations -"he will quit smoking once we marry",she will get born-again later,He will turn to my religion/denomination...Sorry dear,if you marry an unbeliever, you've made the devil your father-inlaw.whatever you see,it's bcos you're now a son/daughter inlaw to the devil. *cant watch*

5)To prove a point/get over a heartbreak :You have to allow healing to take place after a broken relationship and learn from your contribution to its' failure. Don't marry just to show people that 'Yes,you can'.Get over your past,leave father and mother and cleave to your spouse. Without proper leaving,there won't be proper cleaving .
